The majority of work at KMC Brazil is done by Volunteers. Make new friends, experience the joy of service, learn new skills, or contribute the skill you have to building world peace by volunteering at KMC Brazil. Whether on a regular basis or occasionally, as time permits, KMC Brazil needs and appreciates your help.
Weekends Volunteer Work at KMC Brazil - Saturdays and sundays
Time: saturdays 9 am - 5 pm and sundays 9 am - 1 pm
Lunch time: 1 pm - 2 pm
Meal cost per day: R$ 10,00 / saturday to sunday accommodation - no cost for volunteer work, according to availability (please consult)
Registration: on weekends with Eight Steps for Happines course, registration will be done directly with Mahabodhi Kadampa Buddhist Temple - Telephone 55 (11) 3812-7509, Monday to Friday, 9:30 am - 6 pm or email templo@meditadoresurbanos.org.br
Mahabodhi Kadampa Buddhist Temple weekends: January 30 and 31, February 27 and 28, March 27 and 28, April 24 and 25, May 29 and 30, June 26 and 27, July 24 and 25, August 21 and 22 and September 25 and 26.
Other weekends (Transform your Life course), registration will be done directly with Kadampa Meditation Centre Brazil - info@nkt-kmc-brazil.org , F 55 (11) 4409-0967.
Working Visits
In exchange for 35 hours of work a week, we provide vegetarian meals and accommodation. You may also attend daily prayers and General Programme classes without charge. Work is varied and may include cooking, gardening, office work, building maintenance and cleaning. To request a working visit, please contact the Administrative Director.
